Construction of industrial building in the city Logoysk completed by the launch of the 2nd stage of the second start-up complex “KTM-Techno” (production of plastic bags).
The event dedicated to the completion of construction was attended by shareholders from Belarus, Lithuania and Sweden, heads of manufactures and building services’ managers.
In 2006, our company purchased an unfinished industrial building of the plant “EPOS” and began design works in connection with a building reconstruction. During a work on inspection of building structures it was found out that it is actually necessary to be engaged not in the reconstruction but a new building using the rests of construction materials from the previous building.

Building of the plant “EPOS” was launched in 1986, it was planned to use it for the needs of the military-industrial complex (MIC).
It was supposed to set up production of special high-precision equipment for manufacturing and control of the superlarge integrated microcircuits and optics for the needs of the Armed Forces of the USSR at the factory. “EPOS” wasn’t able to be completed — the soviet union has broken up.
Under te influence of an atmospheric precipitation not preserved building has come to an emergency condition. The frame of the building was under threat of destruction, the roof fell into disrepair. At the moment of purchase, the building was a pile of building materials, half of which required utilization.
In December, 2007, with a schedule advancing the first starting complex of the plant — “Workshop for the production of large diameter pipes” has been handed over. It is a joint project with a Swedish group of companies “ViaCon”.
The group of the companies specializes on manufacture of steel and plastic corrugated pipes of different diameter as well as special metal structures used for the construction of various types of transitions, bridges, tunnels, drainage systems, etc. All production corresponds to generally accepted standards of quality ISO 9001.
In May 2009 the next stage of construction was completed — the 1st part of the second start of the complex — “Workshop for the production of profiles”.
Current production of profiles for floor coverings was transferred from Minsk to the city Logoysk.
For the second half of the year 2009 the logistical system of a commodity flow distribution has been debugged, the warehouse in Minsk was optimized.
Clients of the company have appreciated the improvement of service quality and speed of processing orders. Now delivery of the goods across Belarus occurs within 48 hours. At the sum of the order from 1 million Belarusian rubles, delivery of the goods the free.
Customer service with “burning orders” occurs as always at one place, conveniently located base in Minsk, nearby the Minsk ring road.

To a new building season it is offered two novelties:
extra wide joint hiding thresholds of 80 mm (article 80);
extra wide joint hiding thresholds of 1000 mm (article 10).
At the moment these thresholds are produced in two most popular colors: gold (02) and silver (01).

In manufacture and realization a new experimental series with the working name “Master KD” is started. 5 variants of thresholds with the dyed coverage imitating wood colors and texture are already accessible.

Next improvement of consumer properties of thresholds of trade mark “KTM-2000”.
From February, 2009 thresholds with the open system of assembly will be completed by the improved hanger for a threshold.
Sometimes, especially on heavy types оf profile (1,8 m long), hangers and packaging films breakages happened. We corrected a mould for casting these hangers, adding special fixative pin due to which a threshold will be hold firm in a hanger.
This pin must fit into the first opening of threshold and stop him from slipping out from the awns of hanger.

In our work we follow principle “continuous improvement of production processes” and, as a result, quality and consumer properties of products of trade mark “KTM-2000” gets better. In order to realized the principles described higher , we always took into account opinion of our clients and users, for us is very important your “feed-back”.
In 2007 we changed the system of fastening of thresholds “KTM-2000” with the hidden fastening.
Tests, conducted on November, 8, 2007, confirmed the rightness of our choice in behalf of the new system of assembling “PVC dowel-nail”, as compared to the old system “a steel nail with the special hat — PVC dowel”.
However we received complaints about the unreliability of the new system of fastening, and we conducted additional tests taking to account that floors are not always made in accordance to requirements of build norms and rules (BNAR).
Often threshold is set on the place, where floor slabs join each other; space between slabs is filled by cement solution, diluted with a build garbage. In such terms it is needed to use something more reliable.
Tests showed that the best results in such “real” terms it is possible to obtain, using modernized “old” system “a steel nail with the special hat is — PVC dowel”.
Changes touched the form of hat, for its more clear work with the slot of threshold, length of nail was increased from 45 to 50 mm and inflicted more strongly expressed ribs (ruff) on a nail.
The form of hat provides now “work” of threshold with a nail as in a hinge with minimum gaps, the area of hat is increased, that allows to decrease pressure on material of threshold at his assembly and accordingly avoid deformations of aluminium (early, when a little hat was used, reclamations appeared).
From January, 2009 we began to complete thresholds with the hidden system of fastening with the modernized fastening system described higher.
If client wants, we can complete thresholds with the system of assembly “PVC dowel-nail”, as for the good concrete gatherings it is more preferable (maintains loading on tearing away on 12,7% more).
