Final meeting of 2015 in Logoysk
The final meeting of KTM-2000 was held on the last day of November.
This event has already become a good tradition of our company when we draw up the preliminary results of the expiring year and forecasting the production program of the finishing profiles and thresholds for the year ahead together with all the employees of the commercial division.
This positive experience has become efficient since the suggestions of customers are shared by the sales representatives with the company's management and also with the engineering staff of the Logoysk KTM Plant and it becomes possible for us to immediately schedule the development of new products or make changes to the existing production process.
Among the special features of this meeting was that it was held together with the division of industrial cooperation and foreign trade.
During this meeting we held workshops on the specifics of industrial product anodizing for the medium- and large-volume production capacities, as well as on the use of expansion joints in
construction and architecture.

On 12.11.2015 our company received the certificate Qualanod-2016 in Zurich
Renewal of the license Qualanod testifies about our uncompromising attitude towards the quality issues when applying the anode coatings (anodizing) at our enterprise.
During the inspections in 2015 no remarks were made.
The value of this certificate for the companies involved in applying anodic coatings (anodizing) on aluminum alloys is very significant as quite often neither a customer nor user have appropriate equipment and expertise to verify the quality of the applied electroplating (galvanic coating).
The use of the quality mark "Qualanod" ensures that all technological processes and regulations are strictly enforced when we provide the anodizing services.
The enforcement of these standards are carefully monitored by the Qualanod certified inspectors. The independent monitoring, without prior notice, is ensured from 2 to 5 times a year.
Customers from all over the world rely on this certificate.

We are inviting you to visit an international photo exhibition MIE-2015 "MetalScape or 10 kg of landscape paintings."

The special thing about this exhibition is that all the artworks are represented on aluminium sheets that are used for claddings of buildings.
The image is applied by method of digital anodizing DigitELOX.
This technology is the product of international cooperation between our enterprise "KTM" and the Swiss "Mantel Digital".
The image is not on the surface but inside the aluminium oxide layer.
One may notice this technology reminds the tattooing process when colouring pigment is placed under the skin.
When compared with standard print methods from the visual perception viewpoint, this technology adds dimension and at certain illumination makes the image gleam as if from within.
At the same time, the digital anodizing in common with the classical anodizing fulfills protective function.
Anodized aluminium possesses a much greater corrosion stability, does not fade, or lose colour, does not raise dust, or smear, and number one - it does not burn.
Besides, anodizing significantly increases superficial microhardness of aluminium alloys raising it from 200HV (units by Vickers) to 300-400HV.
By no means unimportant is the fact that anodized aluminium can easily be cleansed by solvents, spirits, petrol, which allows standing against street graffiti "artists" and vandals.

Our organization representatives have participated in Workshop "Modern Facades: Relevant Technologies of the New Generation" and reported there on new technologies of the facade aluminium elements anodizing.
There were some 70 specialists present of architectural, design and contractor organizations, who deal in project engineering and facade cladding of the buildings.
Leading producers in the manufacturing market of construction materials that are employed in the facade systems made their reports.
We displayed illustrative models of the buildings facade aluminium elements fabricated with employment of the leading-edge anodic coating:
- coloured anodizing ColorELOX by Sandary technology with enhanced withstandability to ultraviolet light;
- digital anodizing DigitELOX with employment of metallographical technology allowing applying any print with standard anodic coating properties to the building facade;
- artistic anodizing ArtELOX obtained by selective etch and anodizing technique, as a result of which a monochrome imagery, paintings, patterns, textures or writings develop on the surface. The technology accepts combination of several colours or factures, e. g. glossy finish and mat surface.
All the considered technologies are already available in our production.

JV "KTM-2000" Ltd. will participate in upcoming 23rd international specialized building exhibition "BUDPRAGRES-2015", which will be held from 8th to 11th of September 2015 at the address: Minsk, Pobediteley av., 20/2 "Football arena".
Leading specialists of our company are ready to answer all your questions related to the services of anodizing of aluminum alloys (elements of the facades of buildings: cassettes, additional elements, parts, profiles ...).

Seminar for employees of OMA chain stores
Our company produces the best profiles for finishing of floor joints among the products manufactured in the territory of CIS countries and successfully competes with similar products of leading Western manufacturers.
The quality of decorative thresholds and finishing profiles is always top-notch and this becomes clear from the recognition of our products in the European market and also from the available international certificates, such as Qualanod (Switzerland).
The most advanced technologies and methods of production are used at our plant in Logoysk. All our customers can be assured of this by visiting our plant for a tour.
In addition, we encourage our partners to undergo training programs aimed at enlarging the knowledge of all profile systems offered by our company and comparing advantages of our products with other analogues.
We held a similar training seminar for the employees of the Belarusian-Lithuanian OMA chain stores in August 2015.
This event gave the employees of the distribution network better understanding of the production peculiarities of thresholds and profiles and assured them that the products are manufactured entirely in the Republic of Belarus, no cheap Chinese materials are used in the production process and that the protective and decorative coatings used for thresholds and profiles comply with all the requirements applicable to floor coverings.
While visiting the plant, customers get the chance to become part of the sophisticated technological process, thus raising confidence in the proposed product and guarantees that the customer shall remain satisfied with the procurement and shall use our products for many years ahead unlike the cheap analogues of our competitors.

On 5th August, 2015 we received the Qualanod Certificate from Switzerland
One of our company's most significant events has happened: on 5th August, 2015 we received the Qualanod Certificate from Switzerland (!!!) which means now we are fully-fledged members of the International Association of Anodizers who perform all their work in line with the highest standards of the industry.
This International Certificate is recognized all over the world and is the only one in the industry acknowledging high quality of the anodic protective and decorative coating applied on aluminum alloys.
It is de facto standard for all the companies who would like to anodize aluminum elements for modern architecture and construction. It also acknowledges the fact that all electroplating production processes are realized in strict compliance with the norms, technological process and procedure rules.
The Certificate validity term is the calendar year. To comply with high standards of this Certificate, it is necessary ALWAYS to conduct all the technological processes in strict compliance with the procedure rules. Besides, we are obliged at any time to grant access to our production facilities to inspectors of the accredited examining bodies (not less than 2 times per year).
In order they could ascertain that we really conduct all the operations in due order; otherwise the Certificate will be instantaneously abrogated.

Slovak-Belarusian forum "Innovations - path to successful integration" in Vitebsk
From 8th to 9th of July in anticipation of the opening of the international festival "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk" Slovak-Belarusian Industrial forum took place. Our company has participated in this forum in cooperation with Slovak partner-company "Celox".
CEO of the company JV "KTM-2000" Ltd Mr. Taras Gvozdkov shared secrets of successful cooperation in the international arena, spoke about the progress in the development of new export markets of the EU with the help of Slovak colleagues.
We also made presentation of new directions of cooperation between two companies "KTM" and "Celox", in which we presented new technologies which were mastered by our company for the last jubilee year.
In 2015, we received international certificate QUALANOD, mastered new kinds of architectural anodizing for indoor and outdoor use, for example for ventilated facades.
In our factory in Logoysk new technologies such as color anodizing Sandalor, digital anodizing DigitELOX, selective anodizing with chemical engraving ArtELOX became available.
We also presented our project finished in 2015 - facade of five-star hotel "Marriott Falcon" in Minsk on Pobediteley Avenue.

Improving the qualification of KTM engineering staff in Switzerland and Germany
Among the priorities of our company are as follows: constant improvement of products quality, development of the technology and production process, environmental protection, research and training of personnel.
In June 2015 our specialists completed a special program on training for the engineering personnel at enterprises in Germany and Switzerland under the auspices of the Swiss and German electroplating industry associations.
The training included a theoretical and practical course and was held in the training center of the world's largest manufacturer of color pigments and chemistry for the galvanic production OMYA-Clariant and also on the existing plants, specializing in aluminum anodizing.
The training was focused on the issues of color anodizing: frequency of colors and enhancement of resistance of anodizing to environment effects - fading in the sun due to the impact of the ultraviolet light.
This training session significantly advanced and brought our company to joining the European association of color anodizing Interoxyd-Sandalor and obtaining the highest certification in the field of anodizing for architectural purposes.

From 14th till 17th of April 2015 International construction exhibition MosBuild 2015 took place in the Exhibition Complex "Expocenter" (Moscow). On this exhibition we showed technologies of digital and color anodizing of aluminum elements for ventilated facades.

Furthermore, in the exhibition we showed the panel with illustration of abstraction with the set of letters. This panel was produced with the help of technology of digital anodizing DigitElox™ and DuralPrint™ (Switzerland) using commercial printer Mantel Digital.
Many architects who visited this exhibition pointed out that color anodizing of facade elements manufactured at our plant with the help of technology Sandalor™ is the most interesting and fresh solution among all presented variants of decorative coatings.

At the beginning of April we participated in one of the most significant events of the year for our industry: exhibition "Metalworking 2015".
Our company participates in this exhibition not for the first time and brand "KTM" has become recognizable and associated with young, ambitious and innovative engineering team who can handle any task.
Samples of the parts with color anodizing showed on this exhibition aroused great interest among the visitors. Many of them had no idea before that color anodizing became available in our country. This new technology opens up new opportunities for design and construction of new products, the appearance of which will greatly stand apart among black and white analogues.
If you were unable to visit the exhibition, but you would like to see samples of color anodizing parts made from duralumin D16 or D16T welcome to our office in Minsk (Promyshlennaya, 6a).

EXPOBUILDING- 2015 Minsk

To those who were not able to visit our stand, we invite you to Moscow on the exhibition MosBuild 2015 which will be held from 14 to 17 April 2015 (in the"Expocentre").
We will demonstrate you the technologies of digital and color anodizing of aluminum elements for ventilated facades on the stand of the company "Bildex" (www.bildex.ru), Russia's largest company specializing in the design, manufacture and installation of aluminum facades.

We have received the first production batch of the machines SDG-02 for bending of the profiles.
One year ago our company engineers have developed completely new type of the machine for bending of the profiles.
The prototype was refined several times and went through a long "field testing" in our company store.
Now with help of this machine we can bent such complex profiles as # 314 article (T-shaped with offshoot) with minimum radius of 30cm.
