Anodization process is the controlled process of producing anodized layer, which has many unquestionable advantages:
- the appearance of the product improves significantly (there are no small scratches, the surface structure becomes smoother; the surface looks dull-polished, the fine chips left after the mechanical treatment are festered);
- one can obtain different colours and shades of anodized layer (see the colour scale);
- the high mechanical properties, the firmness of the anodized layer is significantly higher than that of the raw aluminum, and that lets achieve better resistance to abrasion and to other mechanical damages;
- the physicochemical properties of the anodized layer are unmatched by any type of painting, including polymeric painting, because the anodized layer interacts with the crystal structure of aluminum, penetrating into it. Ñînsequently, anodized layer can be separated from aluminum only by etching it in a strong acid;
- by using anodized layer we get high anticorrosion properties, which is especially important if the extrusion or the parts are to be used in corrosive environment;
- the anodized layer practically doesn’t affect thermal conduction of aluminum, which lets apply it in heat-eliminating radiators used, for instance, for cooling radioelectronic equipment. Such effect is achieved due to controlled process of anodized layer growth, and as a result one gets a surface with the same properties all over the surface, the “raw” aluminum affected by the atmosphere oxidizes irregularly, and the naturally obtained oxidation film is of chaotic structure and can seriously affect thermal conduction properties in corrosive environment;
- conductivity: anodized layer is an insulating material, and if there is need to ñînnect the covered part to an electric contact, one has to remove (mechanically) the anodized layer locally at the place of the contact.
The new anodizing line is a modern robotized production with a high quality control.
The size of the baths lets process profiles and parts with dimensions up to 3õ1.4õ0.25 m (3.15õ1.5õ0.3 m maximum).
The thickness of the coating is from 10 tî 25 micron, upon the customer’s request.
The line capacity is 600 ton per year.
We plan to offer profiles with polished or texturized surface in the long term.
COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES OF THE NEW LINE:
- The high quality of the anodized surface;
- We take orders from 50 kilos;
- We can offer anodized treatment in different colours;
- We perform adjustment of equipment depending on the customer’s needs;
- We offer competitive prices!
The German technology and the chemical components used by the company will let us in a short time receive the worldwide recognized certificate «QualAnod», which is an international quality mark for anodized coatings of aluminum alloys used in architectural construction.
We plan to reequip the shop for aluminum mechanical treatment and offer the following complementary services: drilling, parting-off, cutting, milling, polishing, wire brushing (axial work with brushes), shot-blasting (surface treatment with fine shot which lends the surface dull-polished effect with a predetermined degree of flatness), laminating different profiles with films or wood veneer.
The manufacturing personnel of the company has completed a specialized vocational training, each specialist is certified at regular intervals, which motivates people to improve their qualification. The company follows the principle of steady improvement at all production levels, which comprises quality, new technologies, and stimulating efficiency drive and inventions of the manufacturing personnel.
These are the real tools for achieving work efficiency and productivity, reducing time for execution of orders as well as quality improvement.
