Anodizing. Offer

Àluminum is a metal which oxidizes in the open air practically immediately. As a result of such oxidation a chaotic layer of aluminium oxide appears on the surface of aluminum, the layer has heterogeneous structure and different thickness.

In a short time the extrusion tarnishes, loses its gloss, it starts to corrode.

In aggressive environments with high concentration of salt (maritime climate) or alkali (during application of detergents and disinfectants), corrosion goes much faster and can lead to significant complications.

Anodizing with a controlled process can help create a homogenous protective layer on the surface of extrusion, which will not let develop destructive oxidation in the future.

What can we offer?

anodizing offer
  • anodizing aluminum profiles at new robotized production. The modern equipment comprises all the breakthrough technologies, provides full automation of manufacturing processes and ensures high level of quality control;
  • standard thickness of the anodized coating is from 10 to 15 micron, (upon the customer’s request: from 5 tî 25 micron);
  • The size of the baths lets process profiles and parts with dimensions up to 3õ1.4õ0.25 m (3.15õ1.5õ0.3 m maximum);
  • The productive capacity of the line is 600 ton per year (400-600 thousand sq.m.);
  • The anodizing line lets colour profiles with electrochemical, chemical and interference methods;
  • the colour range comprises four main colours: «silver», «gold», «champagne» and «bronze» às well as complementary shades (light and dark).
  • A new anodizing colour – black – has been added recently;
  • small sizes and an especially designed system for change of dyes let effectively change solutions in them and apply a wide colour range.

What can we offer?

Anodizing at ÊÒÌ plant will let you:

  • bring down prices for the final product;
  • be independent from the principal supplier and diversify risks;
  • promptly obtain raw material at peak seasons and get more;
  • increase production volume;
  • master new products;
  • expand into new markets;
  • sell more due to having products “just in time”;
  • optimize stock reserve and reduce the costs as a consequence.

Types of anodized coatings

Surfacing with anodized aluminum can have thickness from 5 tî 25 micron, it is chosen by the customer.

Micron Conditions of use, severity of exposure to environment
5 micron extremely low-duty conditions:
the environment is favourable, with low exposure to abrasion, exclusively for indoor use
10 micron low-duty conditions:
the environment is practically non-aggressive, moderate conditions to abrasion, mainly applied for indoor use
15 micron moderate conditions:
the environment is moderately aggressive, with high exposure to abrasion, mainly applied for indoor use
20 micron heavy or normal conditions:
the environment has high concentration of corrosive substances (for instance, in transport branch and construction);
indoor environment with periodic exposure to aggressive chemicals (for instance, in food industry or medicine where deep cleaning and treating the rooms with alkali and disinfectant compositions) is needed.
25 micron extra-heavy duty conditions:
aggressive environments, sea water, air with high degree of salinity, salt fog, industrial pollution (for instance: areas with maritime climate, industrial areas, construction sites).

Package

We develop and conform to the customer’s needs the package for every single item individually. Most often we use packaging with spunbond - non-woven synthetic fabric which protects anodized surface from scratching.

Multiple packaging may be performed with the use of stretch wrap or bubble wrap.

Upon the customer’s request we can provide the profiles with a protective layer, package every single extrusion or part in heat-shrink polyolefin, cardboard or other package agreed upon with the customer.

We can offer transport packaging options for comfortable loading/unloading, further warehousing and stockpiling.
